Connect to Our coffee shop Private Channel
To connect to a private channel created by Jerry (K6FN), take the following steps:
NOTE: Anyone can do this, you don’t need and adapter or anything else.
- Click on the VBAND link https://hamradio.solutions/vband/
- Click on the “Settings” tab
- Enter your Callsign and Name
- Select a Mode if you intend to send CW
- Scroll down and find the “Add Private Channel” button
- Enter the private channel name in the textbox to the left of the button
Enter “Our coffee shop” in the textbox exactly as show between the quotes - Click the Add Private Channel button
You should now see the channel displayed above the textbox with a “Remove” button next to it. - Click on the “Channels” tab
- Scroll to the botton where you should now see “Our coffee shop” listed
- Click on “Our coffee shop”.
- You should now see a tab labeled Our coffee shop
- Click on the Our coffee shop tab to enter the private channel that we use for members.
NOTE: You can select the “Practice” channel when you don’t want to have a QSO but just want to practice. No one will see you in the practice channel.
