Second Cup DMR Talk Group 31288

Many of Our Coffee Shop members like to hang out on DMR TalkGroup 31288 on the Brandmeister DMR network.  The Talk Group is open to All HAMS who desire to hang out just like on a local repeater, but with the benefit of World Wide coverage.  

You will need a Brandmeister ID to talk on DMR.  See the DMR links section below for the link to RadioID if you don’t already have a Brandmeister ID.

DroidStar on your Windows PC/Laptop –

Download the app from this website:
https://icssw.org/en/m17-erste-schritte/
It will download the executable file (DroidStar.exe).  Do the following

  • Run the DroidStar.exe program
  • Click on the Settings tab
  • Enter your callsign
  • Enter your DMR ID
  • Enter your Brandmeister SelfCare Hotspot Security password
  • Scroll down and Click the Update Hosts button
  • Click the Update ID files button
  • Click the Main tab
  • Select a host from the dropdown. One of the following should work.  If not, keep selecting other Hosts until you find one for which you can connect.
    • BM_3021_Canada
    • BM_3102_United_States
    • BM_3103_United_States
    • BM_3104_United_States
    • BM_2022_Greece
  • Enter the Talk Group ID 31288
  • Click on the Connect button

The connect button should turn from Connect to Disconnect.   You are now connected so click on the TX button at the bottom to transmit, click it again to unkey.
