Overview
The following EchoLink Settings may assist you in keeping with the spirit of the recipes in Our Coffee Shop.
Please leave 5 seconds between transmissions.
There is no setting in EchoLink for this function. You will have to monitor this on your own. A simple 5 second count between the last users un-key and your key-up, will suffice. If you should key up too quickly the server will remind you to pause for 5 seconds between transmissions.
Limit transmissions to 2.5 minutes (150 seconds)
There is an option in EchoLink to limit your transmit time.
1. Open EchoLink on your computer.
2. Click “Tools” on the top menu bar.
3. Choose “Setup”
4. Click the “Timing” tab
5. Adjust the “Transmit Time Limit” to no more than 150.
6. Click “OK” at the bottom of the window.
When using a computer, a countdown timer will appear approximately 15 seconds prior to the transmit timer expiration.
Please note, there is no timer available in the Android version of EchoLink. When using the Android version, you will not see the timer or any indication that you have exceeded it.
