July 2024

A testing of your faith James 1:3-6  Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete , lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God , who gives to all liberally and without reproach , and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith , with no doubting , for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.

Words from Stan : When we as Christians doubt  what God has done or can do
most likely He will not do it or answer that prayer.. He is the Great IM all things
were made by Him and for Him , and nothing is impossible for Him to do. When
we pray ask Father God in Jesus name that His will be done knowing that He
is faithful in all things. Just ask Him without doubt and see what happens.

Standing firm with Jesus.   1st. Corinthians 15:58  Therefore , my dear brothers and sisters

stand firm. Let nothing move you.  Always give yourselves fully to the work or the Lord, 
because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
 
Many times as we push forward to serve our Lord Jesus  the evil one puts obstacles in our
way to discourage us and sometimes stop us. We need to stand strong to accomplish
His goals for our lives. The plus side is He will bless us richly for what we do for Him in love.
Let us never forget what Christ Jesus did for us on the cross. Thank You Lord.

Morality may keep you out of jail , but it takes the blood of Jesus Christ to keep you out of hell.

Words from Stan: It is only by the blood of Christ Jesus and only by Hid alone are we saved from hell.. Thank You Jesus for Your great love for each one of us that You went to the cross and suffered and died for us. The good thing is You rose from the dead to make it possible to be with You for ever and ever some day if we give
our lives to You in repentance.

From My Utmost for His Highest

Abraham’s Life of Faith. Hebrews 11:8  He went out , not knowing where he was going.

In the Old Testament , a person’s relationship with God was seen by the degree of
separation in that person’s life. This separation is exhibited in the life of Abraham by
his separation from his country and his family.  Living a life of faith means never knowing where you are being led. But it does mean loving and knowing the One who is leading. It is literally
a life of faith , not of understanding and reason a life of knowing Him who calls us to go.
 
Words from Stan , Faith is so important in our Christian walk in life. When my wife and i were
called into the Truck Stop Ministry we jumped in with both feet not knowing the outcome but
we trusted the one who called us Jesus our Lord. We have been so blessed by serving Him
in His ministry. We have seen many come to Christ Jesus for their salvation because He is
faithful in all things. Thank.You Jesus.  God bless you all here in our coffee shop in Jesus

From God's Little Instruction Book II

If the roots are deep and strong the tree need not worry about the wind. ~Jeremiah 17: 7- 8~ 

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes: its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
 
Words from Stan: We as Christians need to be rooted strong first in God’s Holy Word every day if possible. Many times in my life without that I would be lost and hopeless. Many years ago my wife and I changed churches to a Calvary Chapel, where we grew closer to the Lord. A short time later our son Shawn was killed by a hit and run driver. Because of our stronger faith in Jesus we were able to walk through this. It was the hardest thing we were ever in. Lean on Jesus through all your challenges in life.

Thought these my be of encouragement.

Laughter is the bush that sweeps away the cobwebs of the heart.  Proverbs 17:22 says
A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing  , but a broken spirit dries up the bones.  A joyful heart is always good for your soul. 
 
What a big difference there is between giving advice and lending a hand.
1st. John 3:18  Little children , let us stop just saying we love people: let us really love them , and show it by our actions. This is so true  , if a stranger says i am hungry do you just say i will pray for you or do you feed them. Prayer is great but actions with prayer is far better.
 
Our faith should be our steering wheel , not our spare tire. 
Habakkuk 2:4 but the righteous will live by his faith.

From God's little instruction book II

These are some helpful statements.  The greatest act of faith is when man decides he is not God.  Psalm 100:3  Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us , and not
we ourselves; we are His people , and the sheep of His pasture. We as Christians must
know who God is. Jesus Christ is Lord of all He died on the cross for us all.
 
Swallowing angry words before you say them is better than having to eat them afterwards.
Proverbs 18:20-21.  From the fruit of his mouth a man’s stomach is filled; with the harvest
from his lips he is satisfied , The tongue has the power of life and death , and those who love it will eat it’s fruit.  We as Christians must bridle our tongue’s . We need to stop and think before we speak. I know i have got myself in trouble many times, 
 
Depend on it , God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supplies.
Isaiah 1:19  If you are willing and obedient , you will eat the best from the land.
I have seen this from the Lord. When our blessing box gets low God always supplies
the food needed. If you trust Him he will supply the needs of your family.. Thank You 
Lord for the great love You have for all of us. Also Lord we ask You to bless everyone
here in our coffee shop in Jesus powerful name we pray.

What does and should Christmas Mean.

It is the good news that can change our very lives. It is the time of celebration and thanksgiving because Jesus the only begotten son of God came to earth as a child and grew into Jesus Christ our only savior. It’s not about presidents Christmas trees ,and lights or even family’s . Its all about Him and the cross where He gave his life for us all .It is our responsibility to chose or not chose Him. If you want to be called foolish that is not to chose Him as you Lord and savior. Hell will be a horrible place for you to spend  all eternity. You see eternity is  never ending. I do not want you to think that family and the blessing of the Christmas season is not a good thing because it is , but we must put Christ Jesus  always first then all other things will fall into order , and this is because we serve a  God of order. If you have If you have doubts about Jesus and you question it look into scripture . John 3:16-17 says For God so loved the world that He gave His only  begotten Son , that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world  . but that the world through Him might be saved. Lets all listen to Jesus through His powerful  Holy written Word the Holy Bible.

Psalm 2 The Messiah's Triumph and Kingdom

Why do the nations rage , And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves , And the rulers take counsel together , Against the Lord and against His Anointed , saying Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.  Then He shall speak to them in His Wrath and distress them in His deep displeasure Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me , Your are My Son , Today I have begotten You. The nations for Your possession . You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel. How therefore be wise , o kings, Be instructed  , you judes of  the earth . Serve the Lord with fear; And rejoyce with trembling. Kiss the Son , lest He be angry , And you perish in the way , When His wrath is kindled  but a little. 

Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Sin

Sin has been in the world since the time of Adam and Eve. The good thing about this is Jesus died in our place for all sin’s. Ephesians 1:7 says , In Him we have redemption through His blood , the forgiveness of sins , according to the riches of His grace.  You see the bible says we are saved by His grace not by our works. Lets look ahead in Colossians 1:13-17 where it tell us of the Man Jesus  Our Lord who saved us from our sins.He has delivered us from the power of darkness  and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love , in whom we have  redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God , the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created  that are in heaven  and that are on earth , visible and invisible , whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for for Him.  I guess all we can say is thank You Father God for Your Son Jesus  who gave His life for us.

Getting ready for your new home

How many of us really think about this. Did you know we could die at any time caused by any event. Are you ready truly ready to meet Him. What I mean to be ready is knowing that you are a Christian saved by Christ Jesus. You will live forever one of 2 places  , in heaven with Christ Jesus or hell , and the lake of fire. It is your choice by God’s free will. It is far better to chose Him now than later during the great tribulation period where you will be killed by choosing Him then.

Read John 3:16-17 and Romans 10:9-10 , these two places in the bible will tell you how to come to Christ. God loves us so very much that He wishes that none should parish the scripture tells us. Many people might say I will repent tomorrow but die at the 11th hour. How sad for them. We here in the USA are a blessed people and should thank Him every for his goodness.

In closing I just want to say thank You Jesus for the coffee shop where we as believers can share our faith in Christ freely.

God's Salvaton

God knows that we are broken people in need of forgiveness. God promises to seek out and save those who are lost , and to bind up the injured found in Ezekiel 34:11-16. He gave us his son Jesus as an atonement for our sin Isaiah 53:5. And He promises to put His Spirit within us , and to regenerate our hardened hearts Ezekiel 36:26.
Romans 10:9-10 says  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead , you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness  , and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We serve a Great and Holy King King Jesus , what a joy for us to see Him some day.

Gifts that differ - From Mornings with Jesus

Romans 12:6-8  Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us let us use them: if prophecy , in proportion to our faith; if service , in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one leads , with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

What gifts has our Lord Jesus given you . You are a child of the most high God when you become a Christian. Let us use the gifts He has given us wisely as we walk this earth. Remember He die for you on the  cross and rose to glory in to heaven to make a place for us. Thank You Jesus.

God's Grace

What is God,s grace it is a free gift to us. 

John 1:16-17 says And of His fullness we have all received , and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  

You see we can do nothing by ourselves only by the power of Jesus Christ our Lord. The bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9 For by Grace you have been saved through faith , and that not of yourselves , it is the gift of God , not of works , lest anyone should boast. 

We as Christians have such a great prize in our Lord Jesus that some day we will stand with Him for ever and ever in His glory in heaven.. 

Thank You Jesus for Your death on the cross , and being raised into heaven so some day we will rise to.

What does the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus mean to us as Christians?

Without Lord Jesus dying on cross, raising from the dead and returning to earth, we as Christians would be hopeless. We would have nothing to look into the future for. Let’s look into the Bible. This is speaking of Jesus being baptized.

Matthew 3:16-17 states, When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water, and behold the heavens were opened to Him and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven saying, “This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.”

This truly shows us who Jesus our Lord is.

Luke 24:6-7 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee saying, ‘The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'”
 
You know every Sunday should be Resurrection Sunday to us by his saving grace. He poured out for everyone.

Prayer

Matthew 6:7-15
 

What is prayer it is God’s power being released through faith. It is also a personnel conversation with God. Prayer and Faith go hand in hand you cannot have one without the other. We here in our coffee shop  have seen many Prayers answered.

How do we pray the bible  says. in Matthew 6:7-15 , Do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. , therefore pray Our Father in heaven Hollowed be  your Name. We all know this prayer but lets look at this when we pray pray to the Father in Jesus name.
 
Speaking of Father God it says Hollowed that means Holy. Without Prayer and Faith we cannot be Christians . Lets pray daily to the Lord for the needs of others
then our selves.

Thankfullness

Ephesians 2:8-9
 
By grace refers to God’s favor upon those who have transgressed His law and sinned against Him. But grace may also be understood as a power in these verses. God’s grace not only offers salvation but also secures it . Saved refers to deliverance from God’s wrath at the final judgment.
 
You see here that the bible says we are saved by God’s grace. Christ Jesus greatest gift of grace to us was His death on the cross and resurrection into heaven. If He did not raise from the dead and return we would have no hope. Since God showed us His great grace what is His character. He is Holy,  full of love, Good, perfect, pure, true, just, righteousness, faithful,  upright, unchangeable, everlasting, and many more showing His character written in the bible.
 
Father thank You for Your son Jesus who gave His life for me and you. God bless you all here in our coffee shop Stan N9RFO. Have a blessed February.

Thankfullness

As we start a new year we need to be thankful for all we have. The first place to start is to thank Jesus Christ our Lord for dying on the cross in our place. By repenting  before Him of all our sins and knowing that He rose from the dead gives us great hope and joy.

Looking in John 3:16 , and 17 it says For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son , that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world , but that the world through Him might be saved.

We are a most blessed people who have a personal relationship with Him. You see if we are Christians this life here on earth is the worst life we will have. But if you are not a Christian this life here on earth is your best life until you die. Hell is not a place you want to be.

Our Newborn King from Mornings with Jesus

Matthew 2:1-2  After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and ask, “Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star when it rose and have come to worship Him.”

Words from Stan: You see from the very beginning Jesus was to be worshiped. Let’s learn about Him. Start reading the book of John and it will tell you about Him, it will change your life.

    Your most recent message regarding reading God’s word daily reminds me of Jesus’s words in Matthew 4:4 , https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Matthew-4-4/

    “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

    While it is necessary for us to eat, consume food and water to sustain our life, it is just as necessary for our soul that we feed on the word of God.
