Word for the Week from Mornings with Jesus

What did Jesus do while here on earth.

Found in John 21: 25   There are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.

Words from Stan. How great is our Lord Jesus.
God bless you all Stan N9RFO.

Word for the Week taken from My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers

The right kind of help.

John 12:32  I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.

Words from Stan: When Jesus died on the cross for us he gave us the free gift of salvation, and all we have to do is repent of our sins to Him knowing that He died and rose from the dead. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:17  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Make sure that you are not a might, but are saved by His grace.

God bless you all Stan N9RFO.

Success

From God’s little instruction book II

Success. is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.

James 1:12  Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial , because when he has stood the test , he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

Words from Stan: None of us knows what trials we will walk through in  this life , but we must walk through them knowing that God is in control, and will walk with us. All we have to do is trust Him and keep the faith.

Being Jesus Christ's disciple

From Mornings with Jesus

Luke 14:26   If anyone comes to Me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters yes, even their own life such a person cannot be my disciple.

Words from Stan;  Jesus our Lord requires total love toward Him first before we
include anyone else. We must love Jesus more than anyone or thing. You see He gave His very life for you personally on the cross. What a great gift of love that is.

My our Lord bless you all here in our coffee shop.

Spiritual Joy, from TruckStop Ministries Inc News

Matthew 25:21 – His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.

Also in Isaiah 51:11 it says, Therefore the redeemed or the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head; they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Words from Stan: Some day when we stand in His presence what great joy we will have. The only true joy comes from Jesus Christ our Lord, what a day that will be.

God Bless you all Stan N9RFO.

Love, taken from Mornings with Jesus

Ephesians 4:2
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient , bearing one another in love.

Words from Stan: The problem with the world today is what the bible says in the last days people will be lovers of money , prideful , lovers of ones self. This is where we are today. We as a nation need to bring Jesus back into our nation as number one.

May our Lord Jesus bless you all.

The Saving Grace of Christ

As we get up every morning do we think about the saving grace that saved us?  We should because He is our only and i mean only way to the Father and heaven.  Jesus is the correct answer.  Do not listen to those people that tell you there is many ways to heaven.  They are false teachers and you do not want to follow them right into hell.  Jesus gave His life for you as your personal Lord and savior on the cross.  When you wake up in the morning get your first cup of coffee and read His Holy Word the Bible.  This will set you on the right direction for the day ahead. Let me tell you it works.

Glory in our sufferings

Mornings with Jesus.

Romans 5: 3 & 4  Not only so , but we also glory in our sufferings , because we know that suffering produces ; perseverance , character ; and character ; hope.

of suffering. It does not seem pleasant but it is where God wants us to be. We
need to sand strong in these times.

Growing closer to Jesus

The one sure way to grow closer to Jesus is to read your Bible every day. It is like making your bed after you wake in the morning. What both do is to set the first task of the day.  Of course the Bible is more important and gives us the direction we should go as Christians.  Learning God’s Word also helps us as we share His Word with others.  That is very important to give someone the correct answer when we are ask.  What we share might be the only bit of Christ’s love that person will ever have.

Thank You Father God for giving Your Son and Jesus for Your saving death on the Cross.

Father bless all our coffee shop members in You Son Jesus we pray.

God's Love

Father God loved us so much that He gave Jesus His only son to die for us on the cross.

He was pleased to do it for us. Jesus went to the cross for all of us to die in our place. He gave His life for us all that all who believe in Him, repent of our sins to Him can be forgiven. The Greatest Act of Faith is When Man Decides He is Not God

God’s Little Instruction Book II

Psalm 100:3 – Know ye that the Lord is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

Words from Stan: That is the most dangerous thing as a Christian to think you are God. You are His creation. He made you so we all need to live a life pleasing to Him.

God bless all of you here in our coffee!

Taken from Charles Stanley's Book, The Glorious Journey

Government by definition is the system of authority that rules over a nation, state, city, or other organization.  The bible says in Romans 13: 1and 2  Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities.  For there is no authority except from God, and  he authorities that exist are appointed by God.   Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Words from Stan: We as Christians need to obey the laws of the land so we can
be pleasing to the Lord and not come into judgement .

Taken from Charles Stanley's Book, The Glorious Journey

The Christian Sabbath, observed on the first day of the week in celebration of Christ’s resurrection from the dead.

Hebrews 4:9-10 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has Himself also rested from His works, as God did from His.

Words from Stan: We as Christians ought to be in God’s house on Sundays if possible.
I know some have other things that must be done. Today it is so great because we can watch online instead. I know when I cannot attend I do that.

God's Little Instruction Book II

No one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of anyone else.

Romans 15:1-2
We who are strong ought to bear the weakness of those without strength and not just please ourselves, Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.

Word for the Week Taken from Mornings with Jesus The Blessed

Matthew 5:10  Blessed are those who are persecuted because of rightness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Words from Stan: Many of us when we share Jesus can be persecuted for
His sake. We here in the USA are very lucky , it is much worse in other
countries. It can be as bad as to lose your life. Are you ready to share Jesus
today in spite of what will happen.

Are You Truly Saved?

This is a good question.

The Bible says repent and be baptized. Baptism is a works and cannot save you. You need to ask Christ for forgiveness first, then get baptized.

Many people think that water baptism saves your soul, but it does not.

What about Jesus on the cross where the one man with Him said remember me Jesus when You come into Your kingdom, and Jesus said for today you will be with me in paradise.

God bless you all here in our coffee shop. Stan N9RFO.

Word for the Week - Be still

The Bible says :Psalm 46:10, 11

Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations.  The Lord of hosts is with us : The God of Jacob is our refuge.

Words from Stan:
We as Christians need to listen for His still small voice as we walk
in his grace that saved us by His death on the cross.
Thank You Jesus.

Word for the Week Taken from My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers

Get Moving  2 nd Peter 1:5  But also add.

In the matter of drudgery. No one is born either naturally or supernaturally with
character , it must be developed. Nor are we born  with habits we have to form Godly
habits on the basis of the new life God has placed within us. We are not meant to be
seen as God’s perfect bright – shining examples , but to be seen as the everyday
essence of ordinary life exhibiting the miracle of His grace.

Words from Stan: As we walk our Christian walk in life we cannot be perfect , but we
must know we are saved by grace His grace by His death on the cross and His
ascension to heaven. Thank You Jesus , sometimes all we can say is thank You.

God bless you all here in our coffee shop thank You Jesus

Word for the Week - Almost a Christian

Taken from our pastor Jim’s Message today at Calvary Chapel

Are you almost a Christian I hope none  of us in our coffee shop are.

You can be Catholic and go to mass every Sunday or a Baptist going to church
twice a week and be almost a Christian. Have you put your trust and faith in
Jesus Christ our Lord. Have you dropped to your knees and asked Jesus to forgive you
of your sins repenting before Him.  You see Standing in a garage does not make
you any more a car  , than sitting in church makes you a Christian.

Are you sure you are not almost a Christian because if you are you will not go
to heaven , be sure.

God bless you all here in our coffee shop thank You Jesus

Word for the Week from Mornings with Jesus from Guidepost

James 1:17  from NIV  Every good and perfect gift is from above , coming down
from the Father of the heavenly lights , who does not change like shifting shadows.

Words from Stan: The very best perfect gift is Jesus Christ who gave His life for
each one of us on the cross. Remember Christ Jesus walked this earth totally
man and totally God.  Thank You Jesus for all You have done and will do for us.

Stan N9RFO.

Word for the Week - Luke 11-1 Lord teach us how to pray.

To say that prayer changes things is not as close to the truth as saying.
Prayer changes me , and then i change things. God established things so that prayer ,
on the basis of redemption , changes the way a person looks at things. Prayer is not
a matter of changing things externally , but one of working miracles in a person’s
inner nature.

Words from Stan N9RFO  Prayer is so very important here in our coffee shop. We
can see God’s power being released through faith here. We have had many prayers
answered here , because we keep the faith in Christ Jesus. Thank You Lord Jesus
for all the prayers You have answered , God bless you all Stan N9RFO.

Word for the Week - Do You Know Him?

Who is this Jesus that most of the world has heard His name but does not know him?

If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus you will never go to heaven. You might ask,  “But how do we get to know Him?” Read Romans 10:9 That if you confess with you mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved.

Also lets look in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

God made it so simple to come to His Son Jesus and be saved from hell.

Word for the Week taken from My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers

Will you go out without knowing Hebrews 11:8?

Have you ever gone out in this way? If so there is no local answer possible when anyone ask you what you are doing. One of the most difficult questions to answer in Christian work is, “What do you expect to do?” You do not know what you are going to do.The only thing you know is that God knows what He is doing.

Words from Stan: Many times as Christians when we step out in God’s service we are uncertain but He is not. If God is in it you will prosper.

God bless you all Stan N9RFO

Greatness - Mark 10:43

Jesus talks about greatness, Yet it shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Words from Stan: You can see even Jesus our Lord came as a servant for many and died for us all on the cross. We owe Him everything, thank you Jesus.

God bless you all Stan N9RFO

Sower of the Word taken from Mark 4:3-8

This talks about the sower of the Word.

It says Listen Behold, a sower went out to sow. It tells us in scripture some seed fell by the wayside: and the birds came and devoured it. Some fell on stony ground where it did not have much earth: and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth.

But when the sun was up it was scorched , and because it had no root it withered away. And some seed fell among thorns: and the thorns grew up and chocked it, and it yielded no crop. But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirty fold, some sixty, and some a hundred.

Jesus explains these parables in Mark 4:13-20  And He said to them Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables. The sower  sows the Word.  And these are the ones by the wayside where the Word is sown. When they hear it, Satan comes immediately and takes away the Word that was sown in their hearts. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the Word, immediately receive it with gladness: and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the Words sake, immediately they stumble. Now these are the ones sown among thorns: they are the ones who hear the Word, and the cares of the world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful. But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the Word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirty fold, some sixty , and some a hundred.

It is very important to share God’s Holy Word so that people are given the chance to hear and learn.

God bless you all Stan N9RFO.

Why Should We Keep God's Name Holy?

Why should we as Christians keep His name Holy? Number one is to show the world that  we love and respect Jesus our Lord with all our hearts. People need to know this that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. That is what the bible tells us. Love and respect to God and others is very important as we walk in this life. As we look at this world, that attribute is rarely found. The bible says let your light shine and do not put it under the basket where people cannot see it. We, as God’s kids, should walk boldly in this world showing others our great love for Jesus our Lord.

God bless you all Stan N9RFO.

11/28/2021

Are you ready for the rapture of Christ's church

Look at today it is just like in Noah’s day the people were clueless as to what was going to happen. It is the same today people going about their daily lives clueless. The bible says there will be wars and rumors of wars , people will be lovers of themselves not of God. And the list goes on. We live in a lost world now for most people. We as Christians should be looking up for our redemption. When Father God tells His son Jesus it is time then it is time. Only the Father knows when.

Let us here in our coffee shop be ready to go home to be with Jesus for ever and ever.
God bless you all Stan N9RFO.

The Hidden Life, By Oswald Chambers My Utmost for His Highest

Colossians 3:3 Your life is hidden with Christ in God

The Spirit of God testifies to and confirms the simple , but almighty , security of the life that is hidden with Christ in God. We talk as if living a sanctified life were the most uncertain and insecure thing we could do. Yet it is the most secure thing we could do. Yet is the most secure thing possible , because it has Almighty God in and behind it. The most dangerous and unsure thing is to try to live without God.

Words from Stan: We as Christians should do nothing without asking God  how He wants us to do it. If we follow Him it will always be right. Just listen for His small still and powerful voice.

The great love of Christ Jesus

Do we as Christians think about Christ’s great love for us?  We should every day when we wake up, thanking Him for another day here on earth and His great love that He showed us by giving His life on the cross for us. He is our everything, and without Him, our lives can be very dull.  But, with Him He brings us our joy as we walk this life.

Thank You Jesus.

Word for the Week - My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers

The evidence of the new birth. In John 10:3 He calls me by name.

It is possible to know all about doctrine and still not know Jesus? A person’s soul is in grave danger when the knowledge of doctrine surpasses Jesus, avoiding  intimate touch with Him. Do I have a personal history with Jesus Christ? The one
true sign of discipleship is intimate oneness with Him – a knowledge of Jesus that nothing can shake.

Words from Stan: Do we here in our Coffee Shop have a personal relationship with
Him? If you do not let me tell you about our wonderful Lord Jesus. Just ask.

Give praise to the Lord

Taken from the book, Mornings with Jesus.

1st. chronicles 16: 8-9  Give praise to the Lord , proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done. Sing to Him , sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts. Remember the wonders He has done , His miracles , and the judgments He pronounced.

Words from Stan:  We should always remember what the Lord has done for us in our lives.
The most important thing is that while we were still sinners He died for us.

God bless you all Stan N9RFO.

Keeping His Name Holy

The most important thing we should do as Christians is to keep God’s name Holy. We want people to see us as different than most of the world who do not care about the Lord or how to speak about him.

People need to see us praise Him, not blaspheme His name. In the Lord’s prayer at the start it says Our Father Hallowed
be Your name. Hallowed means Holy, and we should keep it that way.

Remember some day if we are Christians we will be with Him forever. Let’s show Him our Love.

Psalm 32

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity.  In Psalm 32:1
it tells us how blessed we are as Christians to be forgiven by Christ Jesus for all
our sins.  Past,  present, and future.  We say thank You Jesus for dying in our
place on the cross.  As Christians lets keep looking up, for our redemption is near.

The Life of Jesus

We will be studying about the life of Jesus next Wednesday. Let’s look at it when Jesus walked the earth. He was totally God and totally man. He experienced life in the human world. What a powerful Lord to do this for us. Not only that He taught the Word but also He went to the cross to die in our place. Do you have a personal relationship with him as you walk this earth?

Words from Stan:  Let’s look at our lives. Are you saved by Christ and ready to spend
your life some day with Him? I hope you are.

God bless you all.  Stan N9RFO

The Destitution of Service - by Oswald Chambers - My Utmost for His Highest

Corinthians 12:15   Though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.

Jesus Christ’s idea is that we serve Him by being the servants of others. The real test of a saint is not one’s willingness to preach the gospel, but one’s willingness to do something like washing the disciple’s feet – that is, being willing to do those things that seem unimportant in human estimation but count as everything to God.

Words from Stan: Sometimes the little simple tasks we do for Jesus can be the very best to him. Whatever you do for Christ do your very best even the small things that seem to be not important.

May our Lord Jesus bless you all here in our coffee shop. Stan N9RFO.

  3. Good morning Stan,

Your most recent message regarding reading God’s word daily reminds me of Jesus’s words in Matthew 4:4 , https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Matthew-4-4/

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

While it is necessary for us to eat, consume food and water to sustain our life, it is just as necessary for our soul that we feed on the word of God.

Thank you for a great reminder!
    God Bless,
    Tom
